Objective
Objective of the Bachelor of Physiotherapy course which is complementary to medicine shall be to allow the students:
- Train Students to work as independent physiotherapists or in conjunction with a multidisciplinary team to diagnose and treat movement disorders.
- Course works will skill the graduates’ physical / functional diagnosis, treatment planning, management, administration of physiotherapy treatment and for patient support.
- To acquire adequate knowledge of basic medical subjects and to develop skill and techniques of therapeutic exercises, electrotherapy and soft tissue manipulation so as to work as rehabilitation team members.
- The graduates will be competent and reflective physiotherapy practitioners who can function safely and effectively while adhering to legal, ethical and professional standards of practice in a multitude of physiotherapy settings for patients and clients across the lifespan and along the continuum of care from wellness and prevention to rehabilitation of dysfunction.
- To acquire skills in management, research and teaching in physiotherapy as well as guidance and counseling of patients regarding physiotherapy
- To acquire proper attitude for compassion and concerns for patients and welfare of physically handicapped in the community.

Project Work
Objective
- To facilitate research work at bachelor’s level which will further enhance their understanding of clinical issues, scientific basis of specific medical conditions & application of new knowledge to the patients by assessing patient’s needs and devising suitable treatment plans for them.
- The project is designed to develop the aptitude among students to read, select reference, review of literature, collection of data, analysis and to present their research work. It can be a written report, case study or a case series, experimental study, exploratory study etc. in a selective group of patients and normal subjects.
- • Each student will receive guidance from the physiotherapy teacher towards referring relevant literature/collect required data and discuss them with the project guide periodically. After correction and edition of handwritten manuscripts by the project guide, the Student will complete his/her study work into a manual form for submission to the Institution of study. The students will do their project work in 4th year and have to be submitted before the start of their internship program.
- At the end of the session, the student has to submit the project work to the college which includes a hard copy & soft copy.
- The submission of project work is compulsory to appear in the final end – year exam.
Internship (6 months after B.P.T. – IV Year)
- There shall be six months (24 weeks) of Internship after successfully completing the eighth semester examination for candidates and had been declared to have passed the examination in all the subjects. Internship shall be done in any hospital recognized by the University. No candidate shall be awarded degree certificate without successfully completing six months of Internship.
- The Internship should be rotatory and cover clinical branches concerned with Physiotherapy such as Orthopaedics, Cardiothoracic including ICU, Neurology, Paediatrics, General Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology both at the inpatient and outpatient services. On completion of all postings, the duly completed logbooks will be submitted to the Principal/Head of program to be considered as having successfully completed the internship program. The student has to do the project in the internship as part of the curriculum of BPT course and submit it for the fulfillment of the degree which shall be evaluated by two examiners. Passing from the project work is mandatory for completing the internship program.

Admission Modalities
The Admission Modalities are with reference to the campus-based Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) Program offered by the ICFAI University, Jaipur. The medium of instruction is English.
Eligibility
Candidate should have passed 10+2 (12th standard) or equivalent examination with PCB (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) with 50% marks in the aggregate of all the subjects. Every candidate before admission shall furnish a certificate of medical fitness from an authorized Government Medical Officerthat the candidate is physically fit to undertake the Physiotherapy course. Selection of the candidate shall be on the basis of personal interview conducted by the University.
Final year students applying for the programs are required to complete their examinations including practical examinations / viva, assignments before August 11, 2025. Such applicants will have to produce a certificate at the time of admission. The admission of applicants will, however, remain provisional until they produce mark-sheets establishing their eligibility. The last date for submitting the proof of eligibility is September 17, 2025, failing which the provisional admission will automatically stand cancelled.
The selection of applicants into the programs is made through application and interviews. While evaluating students for admission, due weightage is given to academic distinction, awards in sports/cultural events, debates, quizzes and other extra / cocurricular activities.
The applicants will have to go through a personal interview at the ICFAI University, Jaipur campus. This is to determine the students’ attitude and motivation to pursue the program.
Original certificates and Domicile certificate should be produced for verification at the time of interview. The original certificates will be returned after verification. The admission decision will be communicated after the interview process. All the selected students will be required to pay the admission fee towards confirmation of seat.
There shall be a special provision for admission of students belonging to the State of Rajasthan in any course of the ICFAI University, Jaipur which shall not be less than 25 (twenty-five) per cent of seats in each course/discipline subject to the students meeting the minimum eligibility requirements referred as above. Seats remaining unfilled under special reservations may be filled up by allotting the same to students belonging to Open Category.

Program Fee
Students have to pay the Program Fee at the beginning of each semester, as per the due dates indicated in the Student Handbook. The first semester fee is to be paid on or before September 20, 2025.

* All students are required to pay the caution deposit along with the first semester fee. The caution deposit will be refunded to students on completion of the program. Caution Deposit and Security Deposit are not adjustable against Program Fee and other dues.
Merit Scholarships
The University offers merit scholarships to students pursuing UG/PG Programs. The scholarships are based on performance in Class XII / Graduation (or equivalent) and Semester-wise performance during the Program under the following conditions.
- Aggregate Marks of all the subjects in Class XII / Graduation shall be considered for the purpose of calculating eligibility of scholarship in UG / PG Programs.
- No Performance based scholarship shall be awarded in case of supplementary in any subject or for drop out cases. Once Performance based scholarship disallowed will not be considered in next all remaining semesters.
Percentage of marks secured in qualifying examination as aggregate (All subjects included) will decide the amount of scholarship. Scholarship will continue semester after semester only on maintaining the minimum 6.0 GPA. The details are as presented in the following table.

Up to 10% of the students of the batch will be awarded merit scholarships based on their Semester-wise performance (Details presented in the table given below). These scholarships are offered in addition to the scholarships based on the past academic record.
