• The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a Central Sector Scheme of Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports.
• It provides opportunity to the youth to participate in Government led community service activities and programmes.
• The NSS Unit of the ICFAI University, Jaipur aims to provide students with a platform to engage in community work and create a positive impact in society.
• As part of community work, student volunteers will be involved in cleanliness drives, health camps, plantation, conducting surveys and raising awareness regarding issues like sanitation, clean environment, importance of education etc.
• The NSS Unit will also conduct personality development programmes and other expert lectures along with various competitions from time to time to ensure the overall development of the students.
• Aiming to uphold the motto of NSS: “Not Me But You”, community work will be carried out in nearby villages that the university had adopted under the aegis of the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Programme.
