Dr. Govind Sharan Dangayach is President, ICFAI University, Jaipur. He was Director of BIT Mesra Jaipur before joining IU Jaipur. Earlier, he was Chief Vigilance officer, Dean, Research & Consultancy, Dean, Planning & Development, Professor - HAG, in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT), Jaipur. He graduated in Mechanical Engineering from M.B.M. Engineering College Jodhpur in the year 1984. He obtained a Master’s degree in Production Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He earned his Doctorate in Industrial Engineering also at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He has published 359 research papers in various International/National Journals and conferences. He is Editor-in-chief of the Journal of Manufacturing Technology Research (An International Journal). He is Associate Editor of the International Journal of Business Systems Research (IJBSR), and the International Journal of Global Business Competitiveness (IJGBC). He is Guest Editor of three International Journals viz. Production Planning & Control (PPC), International Journal of Manufacturing Technology & Management (IJMTM), International Journal of Business Performance Management (IJBPM). He is a Reviewer of Thirty Seven International Journals. He is Visiting Professor at DHBW Mosbach, Germany, Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) Bangkok, IIM Kozhikode, and IIM Shillong. He delivered several Invited Lectures/ Keynote addresses in India & abroad. He has 35 years of Teaching and Industrial Experience. He is a Life member of various International & National Professional Societies. He has guided 30 Ph.D. & 72 Master’s thesis. Prof. Dangayach is a Resource person/Expert of AICTE, UPSC, and NBA Govt. of India. He has been nominated Member of the Board of Management of Rajasthan Technical University by the Govt. of Rajasthan. He is a Member of BOS, and BOG of several Universities in India. He was Chairman of The Institution of Engineers India, Rajasthan State Centre, for the session 2014-16. Besides these his other key achievements are:
