UNIVERSITY GRANTS COMMISSION (UGC)
The ICFAI University, Jaipur has been notified by the UGC, under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956 vide Notification No.F.8-37/2011 (CPP-I/PU) dated February 10, 2012.
The University is competent to award the Degrees, as specified by the UGC under Section 22 of the UGC Act, 1956.
As per the law, UGC approved Universities do not require AICTE approval. Only the institutions, which are affiliated to Universities require AICTE approval. As The ICFAI University, Jaipur is a Bonafide University established by Rajasthan State Act, it does not require AICTE approval to conduct technical courses. This standing of law is notified by the Supreme Court of India in the case of Bharathidasan University Vs AICTE. The ICFAI University, Jaipur is empowered to award B.Tech and M.Tech degrees and the University is not required to take approval of AICTE to conduct these programs.

THE ICFAI UNIVERSITY JAIPUR DEGREES ARE ELIGIBLE FOR NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL TESTS FOR HIGHER EDUCATION
Like any UGC recognized Degrees of any University in India, students passing out from The ICFAI University Jaipur are eligible to appear for examinations like GATE, CAT, UPSC, GMAT, GRE, JRF etc.
Eligibility to sit in the UPSC examination is a Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
The ICFAI University Jaipur students are eligible to sit in UPSC examinations.
Eligibility for CAT is a Bachelor Degree with at least 50% marks from a University established by Central or State Act.
As The ICFAI University Jaipur is a University established by the Act passed by the State Government, students are eligible for CAT and every year students of The ICFAI University Jaipur participate in the CAT Examination.
For GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering Examination) conducted by IITs in India, Many students of The ICFAI University Jaipur take part in this examination every year.
